tk_1000_scf

Tank TK1000 content scf calculation.

The argon volume in TK1000 at a site at any point in time is dependent on the empty vessel volume, and the density of the gas.

In this metric the TK1000 empty volume in ft3 used for each site is different for each site, as per the table below. TK1000 empty volume is referred to as ‘flow’ in the equation and table.

The density of the gas is dependent on the pressure and temperature of the argon, PT_902 and TE_902 are used with a density function to determine the density at the TK1000 operating conditions

Multiplying density by TK1000 empty volume yields a mass of argon in TK1000 in lbs, so a standard density factor is also applied to yield a gas volume in SCF of argon.
